Life as a PhD Student

Hi, I'm Kate and I would like to share my journey through a PhD.  

 

I am currently a student at the University of Manchester and my official course name is: “PhD EPSRC-MRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine”. This course is different from regular PhD, as I will have half a year lectures after which I will perform a mini projects and only afterwards I will choose my PhD topic.

 

If you are interested,  all of my background information is on LinkedIn. But briefly, I finished BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science at University of Bedfordshire and later did an MSc in Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCL.

 

By doing this blog I hope to help other people to decide if a PhD is something that they want to do, as it is quite a series comitment. I met alot of PhD students during my MSc and their recomendations helped me alot for the opcomming years.

 

I will be posting every Wednesday and Sunday evenings.
