Broken Mac and a Cut Finger

I might be struggling to write a blog on Sunday as I don’t have my MacBook with me anymore. My trackpad became really weird and HDMI output stopped working. The later one gave me a real headache during my Monday’s presentation. It kept turning off and since the screen was behind me I had to keep track if it’s working or not. On top of that we were also timed, so “no extra pressure” at all. :D Gladly it should be fixed in the next 3 working days.
In addition, last Thursday I was playing my “Until Dawn” and suddenly realized that I really wanted a fruit. So I went ahead to grab it and also decided to cut it… Apart from grabbing the wrong size knife, I was also cutting toward my hand. I guess you can imagine where I was in the next half an hour… The knife went pretty much until it stopped by itself. I had to go to A&E to stich it up. Also I supposedly damaged a nerve as half of my finger is totally numb. I was told to wait 6 weeks and if nothing changes they might consider referring me to plastic surgeon. Even though it’s on my left hand (I am right handed), it has a great impact on my lab work. I am going through a lab placement at the moment and even putting a gloves on is a struggle. I really hope it will heal soon. On the positive note, I managed to finish “Until Dawn” and even though I killed almost half of the people there, I really enjoyed the game. I will go now and will try my best to write a blog on Sunday, if I still don’t have my MacBook I might write it on Monday.
