Last few weeks were extremely busy. My supervisor is away for couples of weeks, she asked me to help out MSc students. I don't mind it as I currently don't have much to do for my project. However it was really busy, a few times I had to stay with them from 9 in the morning until 7-8 in the evening. At least now we have set up all the experiments and they know what they are doing so hopefully, they will be OK from now on. On Monday I'm leaving for Harwell, so I won't be able to help then anymore. I have really high hopes for my trip to Harwell. I need to get some fibres, so once I'm back, I can carry on with my project. Also while in Harwell I will try to characterise my fibres, so hopefully I will get some data too. The last goal for my trip is to discuss my data from the synchrotron with which I had no luck since April. Hopefully, I will be shown an example of what I should do.

In the meantime, I have tried a new thing - aerial yoga. It was awesome! If you are interested have a look on their website for different classes. It's really good for your back and isn't as scary as it looks. It cost 55£ for 6 sessions which run on Saturdays 10.30-11.30. However if you know that you will miss some of the classes, you can either swap then with Wednesday class or take the whole course next month as you can't reschedule your classes for the next week. We are going for holidays so we would have to take 2 different classes instead of aerial yoga straight after the yoga class...

Anyway, we are finally going on holidays!!! It's been 8 years since I had a property holiday. I lived in the UK for 6 years and never really had spare money to go for holidays. We were always saving either for my MSc or something else. Also, we were working part time in Amazon warehouse so we weren't getting enough money to afford anything apart from living expenses. So finally we are at that moment that we can afford to go somewhere. So we will be going to Greece covering Athens, Mykonos and Naxos. We were thinking of also going to Santorini, but it was quite hard to get back to Athens to catch the flight and the trip felt quite rushed, so we decided to leave it for the next time. This weekend we are spent trying to buy everything that you need for holidays, as you can imagine living in the UK, you don't really have many summery clothes. :D feeling very excited but first I need to spin some fibres in Harwell and then I can go for a trip with a free soul and mind.
