I’m starting to feel kind of bad for not posting for so long. But I think it’s quite common for my blog. :) Sorry, I always have some sort of excuse not to write and I think that soon I will have more interesting topics to cover and then I start to forget what I wanted to cover. Anyway, I’m back on track now. To be honest I was extremely busy last few weeks, I had CDT students doing placements with my supervisor and since she is pregnant I had to do experiments with them. Also, I have 2 undergrads and obviously, I have to do my own experiments. On top of that and the most importantly, I had a deadline for my continuation report. It’s now done and I feel extremely happy, I took a few days off from Uni and just playing PS4 pretty much the entire time. I haven’t played anything for quite a while now, so now since I submitted my report I can play a bit and start going to the gym again.

Also, last week we went to Berlin to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, so of course I decided that I have a legit reason not to post a blog. Berlin was very nice but extremely cold, I think I got used to warm-ish UK weather. Today I finally got my things back together and decided to write. This Friday I got ceramic braces, so I’m a little bit in pain but its ok, I can tolerate it without painkillers. I might be giving updates about my teeth either here on or Instagram, depends what I think is more appropriate. I will have braces for 1 to 1,5 years and my next appointment is on the 31st of March.

Anyway, back to Uni stuff, I am waiting for my viva which will be at the end of March. In the meantime, I will do a public engagement activity, I believe on 18th of March in Manchester museum and also I will be doing teaching for CDT EBL (one of the assessments). I will be showing how to use software and helping out if students get stuck. It’s going to be at Harwell, so will be fun. :) This week I will try to optimize my cell seeding protocols, as I think I have way too many cells per scaffold, so they don’t have space to move around. I really hope that with this I will get vasculature development, as until now I didn’t really see it. I had something developing once, but I haven’t analysed it properly. I will let you know how it goes next week. :)
